Prayers

I love lists!
I love making lists.
I love reading lists.
I love marking off items on my lists.
Somewhere, I'm sure I have a list of lists.

Since this is a month of Discovering God, I am going to list my prayers (in no specific order).
I've never publically written a list of prayers, rather I usually write my prayers down on a small piece of scrap paper and tuck them into my shirt, on the left side, nearest my heart. I used to do this daily, but have fallen away from the habit.

Without further ado:

-A prayer of thanks to God for never letting me out of His sight.
-A prayer of thanks for a new job that I'll be starting tomorrow.
-A prayer of thanks for a dear friend Dan, who randomly invited me to his Bible study in the midst of my curiosity for other religions.
-A prayer of thanks for my dear friend Amber who randomly invited me to her church service, just as I was curiously seeking God through other religions.
-A prayer for God's traveling mercies as my parents in-law are leaving for vacation today.
-A prayer of peace and comfort as I start a new job tomorrow, with new people, learning new things, in a new place.
-A prayer for good health for my husband who's been struggling with an upper-respiratory infection for over two months.
-A prayer of peace between a family member and myself.
-A prayer for my children, that they may have a wonderful week at school.
-A prayer for financial wisdom. I don't need MORE money, I just ask that the Lord bless me with wisdom with what I do have.
(updated 3/1/12)
-A prayer of thanks for a great day at work.
-A prayer for a struggling teammate at work who affectionately HATES me. Though he hates me, doesn't mean I hate him. He is struggling pretty badly under the pressures and demands of our job, and my jovial character hasn't helped him much. I've apologized to him, and I still pray that God will see him through to success and that he may find a happy medium.
-A prayer for God to guide me with strength given my new crazy work schedule and how the hours may affect my children.
-A prayer of thanks for a wonderful time spent with my family on Sunday evening. All of them.
-A prayer of thanks that my dear friend Dan-O has found the love of his life, that she treats him well, and moreso that she also treats his children well and respects their mother.
-A prayer of thanks for some learned financial responsibility with what little $ I do have.
-A prayer for a little guy named Mason -- that God will give him the best life possible.
-A prayer for the people in little Mason's life. That they will love him and cherish him, that they will be patient with him.
-A prayer for a dear friend Linda, who is a heartfelt and genuine person. Whose friendship was cut short by my harsh words.
(updated 3/6/2012)
-A prayer for comfort for a dear family friend Diane, who recently lost her husband.
-A prayer of thanks for a great career and supportive family and friends to care for my children and cheer me on while I embark on this new journey with my new company.
-A prayer of thanks to God for slowly bringing my dear friend Linda and I back together.
-A prayer of concern for my dear friend Debbie and her husband who are ill this week.
-A prayer of thanks that I was able to share some special time with my friends today over coffee.
-A prayer for patience, as I take my brood 20 miles north to do laundry and go to a Bible study tonight.
